The Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) was formed in 1974 for both amateur and professional weather enthusiasts who share a common interest in severe weather. Members have a keen and active interest in thunderstorms, tornadoes and other whirlwinds, hail, lightning, ball lightning, heavy snowfalls, blizzards, windstorms, storm chasing, remarkable showers and world weather disasters.
