It is my pleasure to announce on behalf of the IJMet team a 2006 photo competition. Winners will have their photos published in the February issue of the International Journal of Meteorology. The photos will be judged by IJMet staff and announced in early January 2007.

1st prize:       Front and rear cover spread plus a reduced 12 month subscription to IJMet (30 % discount)

2nd prize:      Centre poster spread

2 runners up:  Inside cover

Competition entry details

* One entry per person must be weather related and taken in 2006;

* Must be landscape profile (approx 4:3) in order for publication;

* email entries (hi-res - at least 600 dpi) direct to me howard @ ijmet.org with "IJMet 2006 photo comp" subject heading with your name and location of photo in body of email;

* All entries will be placed on IJMet website www.ijmet.org for perusal;

* No IJMet staff to enter.
