TORRO Annual Autumn Conference (First International Journal of Meteorology Film Festival!)

TORRO invites you to participate in the TORRO Annual Autumn Conference. All are welcome but advance booking is required. If you would like to attend, please print this page and complete the booking form below.  

10.30am        Registration and Tea/Coffee  

11.00am        Welcome and Introductions, Prof Derek Elsom (Head of TORRO) 

11.15 am    “FIRST INTERNATIONAL SEVERE WEATHER FILM FESTIVAL”

12:30pm        Lunch and Informal Weather Discussions

An opportunity to talk to other participants and to show your weather-related photos and to make new contacts, and to Order TORRO merchandise, (teas/coffees available) 

13:30pm        “FIRST INTERNATIONAL SEVERE WEATHER FILM FESTIVAL”

15:00pm        Question and Answer session? (Ask the Directors?) 

15:30              The Winning Film 

                        The Award and showing of the rest of the film 

16.15pm        Meeting closes

Subject to spaces being available, concessions may be requested for full-time students, partners of full members, and the unwaged - please direct any enquiries to ian.miller@torro.org or sam@ijmet.org Teas/coffees will be provided to participants (but full on-site catering is not available).
